Defer your offer
To defer your offer, please follow the steps below.
You can defer up to the census date for that study period. After the census date has passed, you may still be able to put your studies on hold by completing a Leave of Absence (LOA) request. For more information, please contact Curtin Connect.
1. Log in to the Applicant Portal
If you have yet to activate your account, you will be prompted to do so after entering your details.
2. Click ‘My Applications’
Here, you will see the course(s) for which you have applied for.
3. View offer and defer
- Click View on the application you would like to defer.
- Click More (in the top left of your screen) and click Defer.
- Click OK to confirm.
4. Confirmation message
You will then receive an email to inform you that your request for deferral has been received.
We know things can change when you plan for your future. That’s why we’ve made our deferral process simple, so you can get back on track as soon as you’re ready.
