What you'll learn

You will hear about your options on how to get started with studying an undergraduate course in a collaborative learning environment without leaving Kalgoorlie, as well as information and guidance on relocating to Perth for future study.

Our Career and Course Advisor will walk you through entry pathways, how to apply, and the support available to you. You’ll find out about full-time, part-time and online study options. You can also ask for clarity on your eligibility, get career or course advice, or tips on changing career direction.

Not sure what to study?

Take a deep breath. You don’t need to decide straight away!

Reflect

Think about your preferred subjects and your hobbies. Do you like helping people? Public speaking? Working with numbers? Learning new languages? Making films? Conducting science experiments? Consider how you might combine your future career with your interests.

Research

Take some time to research. There are loads of resources to help you make a decision. Have a look at university websites – they are packed full of useful information. You can download course guides, hear from graduates, ask questions and find out more about what different universities offer. You can also search courses on the Curtin website by potential careers.

Curtin is an open campus. You can visit any time! Drop in to the Future Student Centre and have a chat to our friendly team. Come along to Open Day to tour our exciting learning spaces and meet fellow students and teaching staff.
